Our History

Perched on a rocky spur of the Montagnette, Château de Boulbon has dominated the Rhône valley for over a thousand years. A strategic fortress, a 30-room lordly residence, and the stage for Peter Brook's Mahabharata — the castle now opens its doors to the public for self-guided tours and cultural events.
